Services under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) aims to keep seniors over 65 living at home independently, and remaining active and engaged with family, friends and the community.

What CHSP services does AFCS provide?
We are funded to provide the following service types:
- Social Support Group – Includes light exercise, cultural dancing, art activities, community singing, outings, aqua exercise and digital skills learning
- Social Support Individual – Accompanied shopping and medical appointments, friendly calling and visiting
- Personal Care
- Community-Based Personal Care (Personal Grooming services). Learn more about our new innovative approach to personal grooming services!
- Personal Care Assistance- assistance/prompting/guidance with showering, eating, getting dressed, moving around the house, getting out of bed
- Flexible Respite – Day respite and overnight respite in the home or at our Maharlika Lodge™ Respite Home
- Domestic Assistance
- Home cleaning
- Unaccompanied shopping (grocery delivery)
- Home Maintenance (Garden Maintenance) – Includes lawn mowing, general tidying up of the garden, raking leaves, minor weeding and pruning, weed killer spraying
- Meals – Culturally meals delivered to home or available for pick up at our Doveton site
- Transport – Transport that assists clients to stay connected and active in the community
- Specialised Support Services – services include:
